Training Program
We’re excited to partner with Pineries Running Lab to offer our 2024 runners a training program for every Wonderful Water race distance—5K, 10K, and half marathon.
About the Program
The goal of the Pineries Run Crew Training Program is to help runners develop sustainable running habits that’ll help them achieve their goals. This group training program is developed and guided by certified run coaches who are trained in physical therapy. That means they are able to merge knowledge about the best training tactics with an understanding of how to keep people healthy along the way.

Who the Training Program is For
This group training program is a great fit for any runner looking for a bit of extra guidance and camaraderie on their way to the start line at the Wonderful Water Run. The program is for runners of all experience levels. So, whether you’re running your first 5K or trying to set a new PR in the half marathon, this program can help you!

What You Get

A 12-week training program designed by coaches from the Pineries Running Lab, specific to the race you’re running (5K, 10K, or half marathon).

Bi-weekly educational emails to help you develop sustainable running habits and understand all the things in your training plan.

Access to a group Facebook page where you can ask questions to other group members and share training tips, tricks, struggles, and triumphs.

Two “ask the coach” sessions via Zoom with the run coaches at strategic times during the training plan.

Access to the runDNA app where you can access your training plan, track your training load, and monitor progress.

How to Register
Registration for the Wonderful Water Run and the training program opens March 1. You can register for the program via RunSignup–either when you sign up for the race or after, up until July 20.
